1. What is and what is not included in the price for the 4 day Inca Trail?

Included

  • transport to km 82 where the trail starts

  • professional guide

  • tent and mattress

  • dining tent

  • kitchen tent

  • seats and tables

  • food (3 times breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner)

  • porters (carrying only food, equipment and tents)

  • entrance to Machu Picchu

  • guided tour at the archeological site of Machu Picchu

  • bus down from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes

  • train back to Cusco

Not included is:

  • sleeping bag

  • breakfast first day and lunch last day

  • tipping money (guide and porters)

2. What is and what is not included on the 2 day Inca Trail?

Included:

  • transfer hotel to trainstation

  • train to km 104 where the trail starts

  • entrance to Machu Picchu

  • professional guide

  • food (1 time breakfast, lunch and dinner)

  • overnight in Winaywayna (this is a sort of youth hostal where rooms have to be shared with other persons)

  • guided tour at the archeological site of Machu Picchu

  • train back to Cusco

Not included:

  • breakfast first day and lunch last day

  • bus down from Machu Picchu to Aguas Calientes

  • tipping money

3. How can I make a reservation for one of your services?

Reservation

Reservations can be made by email, mentioning name, passportnumber, nationality and date of birth.

Reservations have to be made on time, this to avoid that there is no availability.

Reservations can be done not only for the services we offer, but also for hotels and flights. As Cusco has a wide range of variety of hotels we would like you to mention what kind of hotel you are looking for (luxurious, mid-range or economic).

Payment

In case you are in Cusco 2 days before starting the activity with us, we accept you paying us in Cusco as soon as you arrive (cash only). If this is not so we will ask you to do a deposit (which is an extra cost of 10 US$).

4. Do you offer special discounts?

Children discount

Children minor then 12 years (+ official passport) will have a discount up to 50 %

Student discount

Students minor then 25 years AND with an international student ID (or ISIC card) have a discount of

  • 25 US$ on the 4 day Inca Trail and Salkantay trek

  • 12 US$ on the 2 day Inca Trail

  • 10 US$ on the direct tour to Machu Picchu and Santa Teresa trek

  • 5 US$ on the tourist ticket

Groupdiscount

Discount for groups depends on the number of people participating in the group and is negotiable.

Other discounts

As touroperator we are flexible in offering our services. In case for example you want to do the Inca Trail and only want us to provide a guide, we will. The price is less of course then the full package price. So in all cases we try to fulfill your wishes and provide you a good service.

5. What do I need to bring on the 4 day Inca Trail?

  • mineral water (1 bottle). On the trail there are possibilities to buy water

  • rain gear (in rainy season)

  • torch

  • garbage bag

  • toilet paper

  • sun protecting gear (hat, sunglasses, suncream)

  • insect repellent

  • personal medication

  • clothes (zipp off pant is practical, 1 warm fleece, t-shirts, socks, woolhat)

  • hiking shoes and sandals

  • camara and extra film

  • snacks (candies, energy bars, chocolates

  • original passport

  • emergency money (US$ 50)
